Second, the processors we use have a relationship with us already and allow us to have an extremely low cost structure (What is called a Schedule A). Most agents will say they can get you the lowest rates in order to have a chance to try, but it all comes down to their costs. Puruz Services has the lowest costs possible in todays market.
In most cases we can or we work out a deal that makes sense for all sides. If you are in an old terminal lease however, it may be difficult.
EMV simply stands for Europay, Mastercard and Visa. Almost all terminals do NOT support it and therefore, may need to be changed before it goes into effect in October 2015. EMV is just a reader for the new chip cards the credit card companies will be rolling out to increase security. We do NOT charge for the new EMV terminals nor is there ever a lease when you use Puruz Services as your processing broker.
In most cases you can. Some POS systems use proprietary credit card processors and unfortunately that is typically when you have the higher rates because their is no competition for rates.
